

The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Leisure Village West CDP which depicts an age of 72.2 (75.7% larger).

Figure 6 provides Jackson township demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and Jackson township depicts it has a Median Age of 41.1 which is less than most other places in the metro area. The city with the highest population density in the area is Lakewood CDP which depicts a people per square mile of 9,429 ( appreciably bigger). The next higher when sorted by population density is Vista Center CDP 23.1% larger with population density of 721.

Looking at the Jackson township population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Jackson township New Jersey depicts it has 585 people per square mile which is the smallest in order of population density of all the other places in the metropolitan area. The total Jackson township New Jersey greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2021 is shown in Figure 4 and for Jackson township depicts it has a Population Change of 5.9% which is the second smallest when sorted by population percent change of all the other places in the greater region. Figure 3 uses the Jackson township population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2021 and Jackson township New Jersey shows an increase of 3,245 (6%). The city with the highest population in the area is Lakewood CDP which depicts a population of 66,752 (14.9% larger).
